There are a lot of restaurants nearby and serve food from the Cretan, Greek & Meditteranean cuisine. You may also find international cuisine, such as Italian & Sushi, as well as many fast food options.
There are lots of sights to visit, like the Cathedral, the Venetian Loggia and Morosini Lions Fountain.
In a few minutes-walk you may also visit some popular archeological sites, like the Koules Fortress, the Archaeological Museum, the Museum of Natural History, and most importantly the Palace of Knossos.
